CHARACTER CENTER !
[ ]character index
In here is where character applications go, from there there are sorted into our accepted and declined sub-boards.

Currently in the community of Grace Notes we have accepted five males and four females. They are further split up into zero directors, zero private instructors, one drum majors, four section leaders, three band students, zero drumline students, and one color guard.

[ ]claims
Remember to post your claims, we wouldn't want someone to steal your face... or your dorm for that matter. But yeah, in here you can find all sorts of claims whether it be jersey numbers for a sport team or your cell number, just look in here.

[ ]plotting
Here is the section where all of the magic happens -- whore out your character to your little heart's content. You can post up a shipping debate to gain plots, then you can post a relationship page for your character (complete with gorgeous layouts and pretty rainbow colors ♥ ) to keep them organized. Anything and everything goes!

ON CAMPUS !
[ ]dorm rooms
The dorm rooms are only just big enough for two people to breathe in together, let alone live together for the next year. Each is separated by gender: first floor dormitories are for the males, the second floor devoted to the females, and the third floor (with, of course, slightly larger and nicer rooms) are reserved for the staff members.

00
[ ]locker rooms
The locker rooms - where people change into their band uniforms or just go to drop their bookbags off before jumping in to band class. Whatever the purpose is, it is filled with gossip and scandals. Graffiti commonly lines the insides of lockers or even on the walls. If you're looking to hear some good gossip or want to be the center of said gossip, this would be the best place to go. The locker rooms are separated by gender, so don't try to sneak in to another locker room unless you want to get into huge amounts of trouble.

00
[ ]band room
The room where you'll probably be living at for most of your time here, the band room is a large, acoustically generous place with a large set of band lockers that line the inside walls. This is where instruments are kept, along with loners. The band office is located right next to the band room. Music stands and chairs are plentiful here, but if you steal any, you'll have to pay the consequences.

00
[ ]practice rooms
The practice rooms - normally, their purpose would be for private lesson teachers to hold their sessions with their students, but because the doors are soundproof and there are no windows, well, they've been used for plenty more than just practicing how to play an instrument. The staff members are trying to crack down on people goofing off in these rooms, though, and now will be on constant patrol, so be careful about what you're doing in there.

00
[ ]classrooms
Hah, just because you're the best of the best as a band student doesn't mean you get to shirk off an education. These are where all of the other classes will be held -- your private lesson teachers are also double majors sometimes, and will be teaching most of your classes for you. From math to chemistry to English to history, this is where all of your general education needs will be met. Pay attention or you might get in trouble...

00
[ ]cafeteria
Well, if you really think you can stomach the crappiest food in the history of crappy food, then come to the cafeteria and get your pocketbooks out. Normally, people don't even eat the food here -- they'd much rather throw it around at each other like monkeys. The food is ridiculously expensive here -- you'd be better off finding food off campus. It'd probably taste better, at least.

00
[ ]football field
This is where most of the action happens -- the AstroTurf covered football field. Here is where you will be spending half of the time you spend of your life here. It's got stadium seating and everything, but nobody even really cares about football here -- it's not even a sport offered. Here is just for the students, the marching band, to practice their drills.

00
[ ]the quad
In the very front of the school lies a very pretty field, pleasantly accentuated with trees and flowers. A few picnic tables are scattered throughout, and in the center is a large statue of the school's founder, J.M. Carter. This is the quad, the most common place for students to be hanging out at after school hours are over and free time is handed out. It's a perfect place to go out and eat your lunch at (you know, instead of the cafeteria?), and it's a good place to make new friends or just sit against a tree and read a book.

00
AROUND THE TOWN !
[ ]the beach
What, you didn't think that there'd be a beach in Texas? You thought wrong, obviously. Of course, not as big or as nice of a beach as Florida or some place like that, the beach closest to the campus is still a hot place to go for weekend parties, bonfires, that kind of thing. The sand is soft, but watch out for broken glass hidden in the grains. This is a common party spot, which also means that it's a common site for alcohol usage and other such vices.

00
[ ]the park
On the other side of campus is the park, complete with a kiddie playground and a tennis court. There's a gazeebo in the center of the park, right by the baseball field, which is a common site for lovebirds. The park is clean and well kept, so don't litter here or the people who keep this place clean (whoever they are...) might bite your head off.

00
[ ]elsridge heights mall
When the kids need a place to hang out, or a place just to shop they go to Elsridge Heights Mall. Situated just ten minutes from the school, it is considered a favorite hang out spot by the students. You can find the most expensive, high-end makeup available to that rare video game that has been eluded you for months!

00
[ ]starlight cinemas
For those people looking or a good time or maybe a place to take your date, welcome to Starlight Cinemas! Being on the A circuit, they offer all the latest movies for a decent price. Just be careful, their addictive popcorn can come at a heavy price!

[ ]chat it up
This is where most of the forum's senseless chatter goes. Be warned: this area is extremely random. Put all sorts of things from rants about school to a stupid youtube video link here.

[ ]board games
Do you love those fun forum games like "count to 1000" and "last poster wins"? Maybe you even like in character games like "hot or not" and "mate, date, or shovel". Whatever floats your boat, games for forums are located here. Make sure you put the in character games in the correct board.

Ah, the advertising section -- the section that always has the most posts. Make sure that you post your ad with a "LB" in the title if you're linking back, otherwise we will post our ad in your site even if we posted already. If you'd like to affiliate, reply to the thread that we've provided.
